About Me

Hello. I am Cayla Rother, the Jordan Middle School Social Worker since 2003, although I have been working in the Jordan community as a school social worker since 1998. I am married and have three daughters. I graduated from Luther College in Iowa with a degree in Social Work and I recently earned a Masters Degree in Differentiated Instruction from Concordia University.

I work with a variety of students in a wide array of situations. Middle School is a fun and exciting adventure which can be a very challenging and stressful time in a young teenagers life and I love working with kids of this age. Please contact me at the number posted on this site if you feel you have any concerns or questions regarding a student's needs.

If you are in a situation that warrants the immediate attention of a social worker, please call Scott County Human Services at 952-445-7751.

School social work services can be accessed in several different ways. Parents can contact me directly to discuss their concerns. Teachers may also consult with me or ask for my involvement. Many times with middle school aged students they will seek me out as their needs arise.
